The inner and outer raceway of angular contact ball bearing has relative displacement in bearing axis direction. This means that the bearing ring is designed to carry the joint load, radial load and axial load.
The axial load capacity of tapered roller bearing increases with the increase of contact angle (alpha). In the radial plane, the angle between the contact point of the steel ball and the raceway (i.e., the load is transferred from one roller to the other) is perpendicular to the vertical line of the bearing axis.

Single row angular contact ball bearing
SKF single row angular contact ball bearings can only bear axial load in one direction. Single row bearings are usually adjusted in accordance with second bearings.
The bearing belongs to the non separable bearing, and the shaft ring is provided with two shoulders with a high ground. The lower shoulder allows for a larger number of balls in the bearing, thereby giving the bearing a higher load bearing capacity.
SKF single row angular contact ball bearings are available in the standard range of 72 B (E) and 73 B (E) series bearings. In addition, some dimensions of the 70 B series are provided. 72 B (E) series sealed bearings with an optional aperture range of from 15 to 55 mm, with a range of 73 B (E) series available in the range of from 12 to 50 mm.
SKF ALS and AMS series imperial bearings are mainly used in aftermarket, so SKF recommends that these bearings are not used for new bearing configuration design.

double row angular contact ball bearing
SKF double row angular contact ball bearing contact ball bearings with two back-to-back configuration of single angle in the design of corresponding, but occupy a relatively small axial space. Four point contact ball bearing
The four point contact ball bearing is a radial single row angular contact ball bearing, which is used to support axial load in two directions. Locating slot
SKF four point contact ball bearings can be located in the outer ring positioning slot, in order to prevent rotation (model suffix N2). The position of the positioning slot is 180 degrees.
